Field Service Engineer, London and South East
Maintaining and repairing VR-series beds and pumps at hospitals in north and east London and Essex.
The role
You will carry out planned maintenance, repairs and installations of VR-series beds and surfaces at hospitals in north and east London and Essex. The territory has a high proportion of VR-7 beds on intensive-care units.
You will join the London team of six engineers and take part in the on-call rota.
About you
- An HNC or equivalent in electrical or electronic engineering, or a recognised apprenticeship.
- Experience of maintaining electromechanical or medical equipment.
- A full UK driving licence.
Your first weeks
New engineers spend two weeks at Morley before starting in their territory, followed by four weeks working alongside an experienced colleague. An example of the induction programme is attached: Field service engineer induction programme PDF, 26 KB, 2 pages.
