Who maintains your beds
Most hospitals use one of three arrangements. Some have every bed maintained and repaired by Van Roon under a full service agreement. Some have their own engineers trained to Level 2, who carry out planned maintenance and most repairs, and call us for the rest. Others have us carry out planned maintenance and their own engineers deal with day-to-day faults.
Whichever you use, the service desk is the single place to report a fault, order a part or book a visit. Every call gets a job number, which appears on our engineer’s report and on the invoice.
Service reports
Our engineers leave a report for every visit, signed by the person who accepted the work. The report lists the tests carried out, their results, any parts fitted and the controller firmware and package version found on the bed. Copies are emailed to the address on your account the same day.
