Products affected
VR-5 beds with corner socket inserts from batch 2019-44 to 2020-31.
What has happened
A batch of IV pole socket inserts was moulded from a material with lower impact strength than specified. If an IV pole carrying more than its rated load is knocked, the insert can crack and the pole can lean.
Action to be taken by the user
- Do not load IV poles on affected beds beyond 12 kg.
- Your Van Roon engineer will replace the inserts at the next visit, or sooner on request.
