VR-A4 active mattress launched in the UK and Ireland

The VR-A4 alternating-pressure mattress can be controlled from the VR-7’s footboard panel.

The VR-A4 active replacement mattress is available in the UK and Ireland from today.

Twenty alternating cells over a foam safety base support patients at very high risk of pressure ulcers. On a VR-7, the mattress is controlled from the bed’s footboard panel and its alarms are shown there, so there is no separate pump control at the foot of the bed. On other beds the pump is used on its own.

Lateral rotation, which turns the patient up to 20° each way on a programmed schedule, is available on the VR-7 with panel software 3.6 or later.
