Overview
The VR-F1 is the standard mattress for VR-series beds. It has a castellated top layer of high-resilience foam over a firmer base, with a softer zone under the heels.
Its cover is welded, not stitched, and has a zip on three sides guarded by a flap so that fluid cannot reach the foam.

Cut cells move independently to spread the patient’s weight.
Heel zone
The last 400 mm of the top layer is cut deeper.

Dimensions are nominal and measured without a mattress unless stated. Safe working load is the total load the bed is designed to carry, including the patient, the mattress and any accessories fitted. Specifications may change without notice; the instructions for use supplied with each bed take precedence.

Service
Covers should be inspected at every cleaning for tears, stains that will not clean and fluid under the cover. A mattress whose foam or cells are stained must be taken out of use.
